Sales tax is required for orders shipping within US. All such orders are charged applicable sales tax based on the currently applicable tax rate.
When you place an order, your credit card is pre-authorized only. We do not capture the funds for your card, until the order has been processed. Even when an item is on back order, your credit card or PayPal account will be hold the funds. Only once your order has been processed will your account be charged. If the order has been cancelled, the funds will be released back to your account. But this step can take normally 1 – 5 business days, and it is your credit card company or PayPal that will release the funds back to your account.

"Must Be Purchased With Hardware"
Software publishers often include a "Must Be Purchased With Hardware" condition of sale. In such cases, to purchase applicable software, Hookbag.com’s customers must also buy some type of product under the general category of computer hardware. This includes any component that will be used when assembling a computer system. A hard drive, motherboard, processor or a floppy disk drive are such examples of merchandise that will qualify. There is no specific or set amount that the hardware has to cost. The mere requirement is that there must be some sort of eligible hardware listed in the order itself.

Your order will be processed within approximately 24-48 business hours, provided the items are in stock and there is no problem with payment verification. Hookbag.com tries to provide, but does not guarantee same day-shipping. Orders are not processed on weekends and holidays.

A Sales Order number will be issued at the Order Confirmation screen just as if you were placing a normal order, but your credit/debit card will not be charged until your pre-ordered software, DVD, or any other item is in stock and ready for shipment. If you buy an in-stock item with a pre-order item, you will be charged accordingly for the available product and the difference when your pre-ordered item is in stock and ready to ship. Hookbag.com does not sell back-ordered merchandise. We will never purposely charge customers for an item that we do not physically have in stock at the time of purchase. By accepting delivery of any product from Hookbag.com ("www.Hookbag.com"), customers agree to be bound by the terms and conditions listed below. Customers and Hookbag.com agree that the following terms and conditions are the exclusive terms governing the sales transaction between you and Hookbag.com. Customers’ any attempt to alter, supplement, or amend these terms and conditions will constitute a material alteration of this agreement and, therefore, render it null and void. Furthermore, these terms and conditions may change at any time without prior written notice. Please check these terms and conditions carefully each time you place an order with or accept delivery of any goods from Hookbag.com.
1. Product Return Procedure
To return a product, you must first obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") number within the guarantee return period for the product. All RMA requests must be filed online. Hookbag will not accept returns without prior authorization and a valid RMA number. Once issued, RMA numbers are valid and customers should send the returned goods to Hookbag within one week. RMA numbers will not be extended or reissued. Customers should prominently display the RMA number(s) on the shipping label of boxes containing the returned product.
Customers take sole responsibility for shipping any returned product to Hookbag. Customers agree to use only reputable carriers providing proof of delivery and insurance for the entire value of the shipment. Customers agree to assume all shipping and insurance charges, and all risk of loss for the return product during shipment. Customers agree that all returned products will be 100% complete, in re-saleable condition, and will include the original packaging material, manuals, blank warranty cards, and any other accessories provided by manufacturers. If the returned product misses any component, Hookbag's Return Procedure will be breached, and Hookbag may in its sole and absolute discretion refuse the entire return or choose to impose additional charges against the customer for replacement of the missing component(s).
2. Warranties; All Products Sold "As-Is" or "With All Faults"
Hookbag is a distributor only. Products sold on Hookbag.com are not manufactured by Hookbag.com. The products may, however, be covered by the manufacturer's warranty, service, and support policies. Hookbag assigns and passes through to customers any manufacturer warranty available. Customers acknowledge that a right to recourse exists only under such warranties, and only against the product manufacturers. Hookbag makes no representation regarding the product except those stated in this document. Hookbag clearly disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, as to any such product, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and any implied warranties arising from statute, trade usage, standard of dealing, or standard of performance.
All items sold through Hookbag are sold "as-is" or "with all faults." The entire risk concerning the quality, suitability and performance of these items is with the buyer. If any of these items proves to be defective, does not function, or functions improperly in any way after their purchase, the buyer, and not Hookbag, assumes the entire cost of all necessary servicing or repair.
3. Limitation of Liability
Under all circumstances Hookbag's maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the products sold. Hookbag shall not, in any case, be responsible for a claim or action in contract, tort, indemnity or contribution, or other claims relating to any products it sells that exceeds this liability limit. Hookbag shall not be liable for third party claims for damages against the customer, or for malfunction, delays, interruption of service, loss of business, loss or damage, or exemplary damages, whether or not Hookbag has been made aware of the possibility of such claims or damages.
4. Cell Phone Equipment Discount Reimbursement for Early Termination
Customers must reimburse Hookbag.com the amount of any discount given by Hookbag.com in the price of a wireless communication device, such as a cell phone, where the discount was given because the customer purchased a wireless communication service plan as part of the same order, if the customer does not maintain the wireless communication service plan purchased as part of the order in good standing for a minimum of 181 days after activation.
